The spokesperson at the label representing Mpeg, sorry Meg White of the White Stripes, hit out at what they called a prank of "particularly bad taste". This was after a sex tape purported to be the drummer having rumpy-pumpy hit the internet. White cancelled their tour recently due to unspecified "acute anxiety". The XL rep said: "We as a label believe some people have a very twisted sense of humour and this prank is in particularly bad taste,
"The tape circulating on the internet as featuring Meg White is fake. It's definitely not Meg."
