Do You Karate? asks the first song on this EP by hairy Irish electro rockers Fight Like Apes, and it’s a reasonable question. No need to ask it in a such a shrill, fuzzy, tuneless way though. I was still composing a reply as Canhead bleeped by in a crash of Amiga 500 sound effects and moronic lyrics about fish and chips. Accidental Wrong Hole is even less charming than the title, which sadly does not refer to poorly signposted golf courses. And just when all seems lost, Snore Bore Whore starts off all sleepy and seductive and life brightens for a moment. Then things go shrill, fuzzy and tuneless again, so I somersaulted across the sitting room and one inch punched the stereo into a thousand pieces. Hi-ya!
