Non-boring viking-themed melodic death metal band, Amon Amarth, are heading back into the studio to record the follow up to their critically-spaffed upon masterpiece 'With Oden On Our Side'.
Says Johan Hegg:
"We have 10 killer songs, some classic Amon Amarth tunes, some really epic moments and some of the most brutal stuff we've ever written! We are confident that this will be our best and most diverse album to date!"
Hegg also promises some celebrity guest appearances. (Cue hilariously-inappropriate mainstream non-death-metal-related celeb specualtion.)
If you haven't seen Amon Amarth perform I can personally vouch for them. They can do it live, and his beard really is that big:
