Playlouder - Music is the Network

Tom Waits has annouced through his official website www.tomwaits.com that he is about to begin a world tour entitled "Glitter & Doom" this summer. There is a press conference on the subject available to watch either on the websites title page, or on youtube. Thirteen US dates have been announced and it is confirmed that a European leg of the tour will be included, the dates for which will be announced shortly.

This will be welcome news for all of those who failed to aquire tickets for his last London appearance on the back of his Real Gone album back in 2004. A string of dates has been promised and thus increasing our chances of actually getting to one of the gigs. 

Crikey, Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits both touring in the one year, who would have thunk it?
