The FT - which is maybe surprisingly quite a good read on rock/pop - gave the Radiohead Victoria Park show 3/5 stars.
Something about it being a flawed experiment.
But the rating was preceded by some of the formulaic adulation I now expect in the Radiohead critical corpus. Refreshingly however the reviewer did point out that the pious 'free Tibet' chanting seemed to be lost on the crowd.
The band are presumably driving up the M6 in a fleet of Priuses now for their Glasgow show. Hope everyone who flies in enjoys the lecture on carbon they will no doubt receive.
