Talented musician and down-to-earth man-about-town Bono 'Paul' Vox is scoring the music for the world's most expensive ever musical theatre production of 'Spiderman'.

The show is currently running at $40 million and is expected to have weekly running costs of $1 million per week.

Cue pointless "think how many African children you could starve with all that money" comments.

Seriously though, a $40 million musical theatre production of Spiderman sounds pretty sweet doesn't it?

The show is set to open next year and the New York Post recently joked that "the musical would have to run for around 8,000 years to break even".
