The tickets are gone, the grass is trembling in anticipation of being a-trampled... and now you'll know that you'll be able to mince around in yer wellies to the sounds of Kylie! New Order! Brian Wilson! And many a tonne of musical propriety more... As well as the folk above you already knew about playing, the main stage will see Elvis Costello, Van Morrison and Garbage, with The Zutons and The Coral doing their bit for weed-addled whispy student beards.
On The Other Stage you've got both the Wainwright siblings, Interpol gothing it, Echo and the Bunnymen, Bloc Party, Futureheads, Soulwax, Tom Vek, while The Bravery, Kasabian and Razorlight are all turning up for you to hone yer mud-flinging skills.
Glastonbury has finally managed to get some top New Band coverage, with The Go!Team, Bright Eyes, M.I.A., M83, Maximo Park, Art Brut and The Rakes all among acts hitting the new John Peel Stage. The demise of the big Dance Tent has simply led to the goodness being spread around a bit, via the why?-titled East Coast and West Coast dance tent. So in the former you get Chemical Brothers, who were amazing on The Other Stage last year, Mylo, 2manydjs, Skinnyman and guess what? Mylo. Westside there's 808 state, Freestylers, Banco De Gaia, Layo & Bushwhacker and Dreadzone. On the new G Stage find Squarepusher, Luke Vibert, The Bug, Cassetteboy and DJ Rubbish.
Other places of note include the Avalon Stage which has The Proclaimers, Broken Family Band, and, it is rumoured, British Sea Power. JazzWorld has Roots Manuva, Alabama 3, Femi Kuti and Nigel Kennedy... and the blinkin' Levellers!
Acoustic-wise you've got Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, Tori Amos, Ani Di Franco and the Beautiful South, while the Dance Lounge Bar features Four Tet, Whitey, Pitman and Bingo Karaoke.
Well, we're going to be there webcasting and reviewing an' all that, so keep your square eyes to the screen y'hear?
