I pretty much agree that it was a big overreaction. Your mate was jumping about, but Jesus, the average rock gig contains much more offensive behaviour - he was jumping up and down; it's commonplace to push people about and swing elbows at many gigs.

Anyway, not sure about the hairy gays - didn't see them. Lucky to be hairy though as most of us (the audience) were bald.

I could be wrong, but the hugging and holding and stroking of each others cheeks and looking longingly into each others eyes, was a bit of a giveway as to the nature of their relationship. Friends don't hold each other so tenderly; I wasn't taking the piss it, was genuinely quite touching, they were really quite moved. I'm not personally bothered by the length of the gigs, but I've bought people with me who are not as into Sparks as I am and for them it might be a little disappointing. I've no complaints myself, I'm loving every bloody minute, I'm going to extra nights. An event like this is for the fans afterall.
