am i the only person who gets a little tired of having to return back to the main page having dropped an answer in a chat thread ?
ie you cant just go back to the general 'chats' page without heading back to the front (what an awful sentence that is - but hopefully you get my point !)
or, is it possible to return to just the chats via some clever shortcut - dare i ask if this is done using the tagging system?

why don't you stalk the chat you're interested in and then you'll get the alerts on the side without having to go to the latest page?

or am I misunderstanding the problem?

  • 16:15, 19 Jun 2008
    markemarke

hey melissa. yup .. different issue. its about being able to get back to the general chat page so you can check out other chat threads. to do this you have to go back to the 'latest' page, and then select Chats. too many clicks and reload performance drags.

it's a problem with nested widget parameters

in the current version of the framework we're using

  • 17:20, 19 Jun 2008

makes it hard to have different versions of the 'latest' widget put their specific URLs in the browser history

  • 17:20, 19 Jun 2008
    matthewmatthew

    sure this fascinates you.

we're working on a new version which addresses this and a lot of other thigns

surely a simple fix is to have the various options listed over <- there .. ie on the left hand side. then you can pop to any section from wherever you 'appen to be. of course, i'm a lo-tech, no code kinda guy, so if this is just silly talk then feel free to place a playlouder hex on me !
