ahh i see

hello hello

yes
can anyone read this?
yup
they must be bored
yup
can you see jeremy.allen ?
nope
sandell is in the room!
hello!
say something interesting sandybell
I drank too much mars milk the other and burped and a bit of sick came out - sorry that was a bit gross!!
nice
sorry - am sure I could have come up with something more interesting
the new Ulrich Schnauss record really sounds like Cocteau Twins
i thought so too
u like it i take it?
at first it was like my cocteaus sense was tingling and it made a little bit angry but now it sounds kinda ok
also reminds me of the Blonde Redhead record a lot
are domino releasing US in the US ?
we are indeed
good for you
i like some of the tracks ...
can't remember titles now ...
but i would say ulrich's achilles is his fanboy position re: CTs and what not
Yeah, I know what you mean, makes it difficult at times to know what his definitive 'sound' is I guess
does Ian Watt manage Ulrich Schnauss?
yeah I think so
Luke Turner is a prince among men
he is indeed - I think we should start a campaign to get him knighted
pfft
You're just jealous because you're colonial and aren't allowed one
i am
i just cant be called sir
look at bono
I shall be Captain hereafter.
well that's killed the intelligent discussion about music then
something's blocking out the sun - oh look, it's luke's ego
no, it's my nose. I thought Mr Shnauss' album was rather disappointing, though I liked it at first listen. Far preferable to the abysmal Maps, but not a patch on M83, if we're talking electronic shoegaze. I would suggest anyone into such things to take a listen to Slowdive's foolishly forgotten final album 'Pygmalion', which took the sonic aesthetics of shoegaze but married them to some rather brilliant electronic minimalism.
just looked at the schnauss discog on wikip - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ulrich_Schnauss#Releases - it's going to be a bit of a job getting all those labels into playlouder
Bloody music industry backslapping everywhere
hi tom!
Grumble grumble......how do I change my username?
Oh yes, hello Jane. In the amazingly improbable chance that Scott plays live sometime, you will get me a ticket won't you my dear? Oherwise I may have to dash myself to pieces upon the rocks of eternity.
So none of you mind the fact that the vocals sound somewhere between Orinoco Flow by Enya and Pan Pipe Moods III bought from a head shop in Newquay?
The first album was brilliant, this is, in places, dreadful.
That's just reminded me to upload my review.
though you didn't actually attach it to the release or the artist, John, so no one's likely to find it after next week. :(
i actually preferred it to the 1st album when I first heard it, but then it started to sound a bit enya to me too... i'm not a huge fan, but appreciate that US has his moments
Why is everyone knocking Enya? I actually really like Watermark. Orinocho Flow was a bit crap, but I loved the rest of it when I was a kid
I had a friend at primary school whose mother looked exactly like Enya. I don't think it was her though, if it was then the wads of cash were well hidden.
it's kind of the ultimate mood music isn't it? enya...
you know.... lift music....?
I'd like to hear some escalator music
http://www.escalatormusic.co.uk/ some there...
it's not very good
i always thought enya would be better if i knew she was secretly taking the piss
not taking A piss? that would be funny...whenever she sang she had a little bit of wee come out
hahaha
she'd have had it sealed in little phials and sold it
sorry - that came out a bit anti-catholic
just saw this on an Enya biography, it's a sign - 'Classically trained on the piano from the time she was a wee lass' if it contains the word wee then it must be true
well - glad we got that sorted!
why isn't this on Rumours? weenya
Sandell leaks constantly. He keeps single-handedly keeps the whole cork industry afloat
Tagged accordingly.
paul.sanders stopped stalking chat
this is fooking confusing this new site
isn't it just?
I thought this was a new chat!
It's nearly a YEAR old.
This thread reminds me of what CB radio used to be like in the eighties, and why it's all but died out.
Think I'm going to go and injure my leg.
